Notre-Dame de Grace, known by most as NDG, is a lively suburb in Montreal. This suburb is filled with lively restaurants, cafes and beautiful parks. It is the main entertainment hub serving many neighboring communities such as Cote St. Luc and Hampstead. Predominately english speaking this municipality is comprised of many different communities with different neighborhoods within it.
With many parks, schools, grocery stores, clinics and one of the largest hospitals in Quebec, NDG is home to many young professionals and families. It is well serviced by public transportation with many bus lines and two metro stations (Vendome and Villa-Maria).
Locals retreat to Sherbrooke St and Monkland to unwind at countless restaurants and cafes, making one of the more appealing suburbs on the Island. With summer-time, comes festival season on Monkland as well.
